Handicap Accessibility Modifications

Making a new or existing home handicap accessible is not an easy task. Choosing the proper builder or contractor is extremely important because it takes to the right contractor to know that making a home handicap accessible is more than just meeting regulations. Ashley Bradley's Case

Being confined to a wheelchair, Ashley was in need of a handicap shower. She hired a contractor to build a handicap shower but was disappointed with the end result. Her new shower required her mother to lift her and her wheelchair three inches into the air to gain access to the shower.

The new shower was larger than the previous shower, it now had a non-slip floor, and a handheld shower device that slid on a trellis was installed.
